Terms of service

The agreement between you and nonex: how hours, sessions and payments work, and who is responsible for what you do with the AI.

Last updated October 17, 2026

About these terms

These terms are a contract between you and nonex ("we" or "us"). They cover the nonex website, app and API. By creating an account or using nonex, you accept them and the acceptable use policy, which is part of them. The privacy policy explains how we handle your data. You can reach us at support@nonex.ai.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract where you live. nonex is not for children.

If you use nonex for a business, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it, and "you" includes the business. Protections that the law gives only to consumers do not apply to business use.

What nonex is

nonex is an AI chat and API. You buy hours, start a private session, and talk to an open-weights model that we run on servers we rent. The model is uncensored: it refuses less than other assistants, and we add no filters of our own. That describes how it answers, not what you may do with it.

We may change, update or replace the model, its settings and the features of nonex, for example to improve them, to keep nonex working and secure, or to follow the law. The same question can get a different answer at different times.

Your account

Keep your password, two-factor codes and API keys secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account and your keys, including by anyone you let use them. If you think someone else has access, change your password and write to us at support@nonex.ai at once.

If you sign up without an email address, nobody can reset your password or recover the account. If you lose access, the chats and hours on it are lost, and we cannot help.

AI answers

Answers are written by a machine learning model. They can be wrong, incomplete, out of date, biased, offensive or harmful, and they can sound certain when they are wrong. Because the model refuses less, it can write things other assistants would decline to. Search results and web pages the model reads come from third parties, and we do not check them.

We do not review answers before you see them, and we do not endorse them. An answer is not a statement by us.

Nothing nonex writes is professional advice, whether medical, mental health, legal, financial, tax, investment, safety or engineering advice. Do not use it in place of a qualified professional.

You decide what to do with an answer. Check anything important before you rely on it or act on it. You use answers at your own risk.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for what you send to nonex, such as prompts, files, images and instructions, and for what you do with the answers: how you use, publish or share them, and the decisions you make with them.

You must follow the laws that apply to you, both where you are and wherever you use or share an answer. You must have the rights and permissions needed for everything you send, including other people's personal data.

If you build something on the API, you are also responsible for your own users and for what your product does with answers, and you must make sure your users follow the acceptable use policy.

Your content

As between you and us, you keep your rights in what you send, and you may use the answers you receive, subject to these terms and the law. Answers are not unique: others can get the same or similar answers, and the law may not protect an answer as anyone's property.

You let us store, process and transmit your content only as needed to run nonex for you: to keep your chats, run the model, search the web when the model does, and show you the results. We do not use your chats to train any model, and we do not sell them.

No monitoring

We do not monitor or review your chats or API traffic, and we have no duty to. Chats are encrypted on our servers, and our admin tools do not show their content. We do not read your chats unless you send them to us yourself, for example in a support request, or the law requires us to.

The model runs on servers we rent from independent providers. While a session runs, the operator of the server it runs on can technically access that server's memory and disk. The privacy policy explains what this means and how we limit it; decide what you send with this in mind.

Hours and balance

nonex is paid for in advance, in hours, and your balance shows hours and minutes. Hours are a prepaid right to use nonex, not money. They are not a deposit or e-money, earn no interest, and cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for money, sold or moved to another account.

Your balance can hold two kinds of hours. Plan hours come with each month of a plan and are used first. Extra hours are bought at the price on the pricing page, are used after plan hours, and do not expire while your account exists.

Prices are in US dollars and shown on the pricing page and in the app before you pay. We may change them; a change applies only to purchases made after it, never to hours already in your balance or plan months already paid.

Hours you get without paying, such as invite rewards or a credit from us, have no cash value.

Buying hours

You buy hours by arrangement with us: write to us on Telegram or at support@nonex.ai, quote the top-up reference shown in the app, and we add the hours by hand once the payment reaches us.

You pay any fees your wallet, exchange or network charges to send a payment. Crypto payments cannot be undone once sent, so check the amount and the coin before you pay.

If a payment is reversed, turns out to be fraudulent, or must be given back by law, we remove the hours it bought as far as they are unused, end the plan it bought, and cancel the invite rewards it earned.

Plans

A plan is paid in advance for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Months are calendar months counted from the day the plan starts, and each month adds the plan's hours to your balance. Plan hours left at the end of a month expire; they do not carry over.

A plan never renews by itself and never charges you again. We remind you before its last paid month ends. Buying the same plan again adds months on the terms it started with, as long as we still sell it on those terms.

If you buy a different plan, or the same plan after we changed it, the new plan starts at once. The hours left from the old plan this month, and the hours of its months not yet started, move to your balance as extra hours. They are never paid out as money.

A plan also sets how many answers can run at once on your account. A plan keeps the terms it was sold with until its paid months end.

Sessions and billing

You use hours by running a private session. When you press Start, the first block of minutes is charged to your balance at once: at least 15 minutes, or all of your balance if it holds less. Preparing the session is free: if it never becomes ready, for any reason, including a cancel, all of those minutes go back.

From the moment the session is ready, it is billed per minute, and each started minute counts in full. Every session that becomes ready is billed at least 15 minutes, or all of a smaller balance, even if you end it sooner. While it runs, the next block of minutes is charged shortly before the current one is used up, as long as your balance holds minutes.

A session keeps running until you end it, your hours run out, or no request reaches it for 20 minutes. Closing the app or your browser does not end it. If you turn on Keep my session running in Settings, it does not end for lack of requests, and you pay for all the time it runs. A session schedule you set in Settings starts and ends sessions for you, and these terms apply to them as well.

When a session ends, the charged minutes it did not use go back to your balance. When your hours run out, the session stops taking new requests; answers already being written can finish.

If a problem on our side interrupts a session, we move it to another server automatically, and the time it spends preparing again is not billed. If we cannot move it, the session ends and every minute you could not use goes back to your balance, even within the minimum.

Refunds

Payments are final. Hours, plan months and payments are not refunded automatically, and unused hours are not paid out when you stop using nonex or delete your account.

If you think you should get a refund, for example for paid hours you have not used, write to us at support@nonex.ai and tell us why. We decide each request case by case.

None of this takes away any right to cancel a purchase or get a refund that the law where you live gives you. You use such a right by writing to us at support@nonex.ai.

If we agree to a refund, or the law requires one, we pay it in cryptocurrency to an address you give us, or in another way the law requires, within any time limit the law sets.

Invites and partner rewards

Invite rewards are shown in US dollars on the Get free hours page. You can only move them to your balance as extra hours, at the extra-hours price; they are never paid out as money, unless you are a partner and we agreed partner terms with you.

Rewards wait for a holding period before you can use them. We may hold, reverse or cancel a reward tied to a payment that is reversed, to your own accounts, or to fraud or abuse of the program. We may change or end the program for the future; this does not take away rewards you already moved to your balance.

The API

The API uses the same sessions, balance and rules as the app. Requests count toward your account's limits, and they can be refused while no session is ready, when you send too many, or when your plan does not include the API. We do not store the content of API requests or answers.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using nonex at any time and delete your account in Settings. Deleting it ends any running session, deletes your chats and API keys, and forfeits the hours left in your balance. Export your data first if you want to keep it.

We may suspend or close your account, stop a running session, or refuse a payment if you break these terms or the acceptable use policy, if the law or an authority requires it, if a payment is fraudulent or reversed, or if your use puts nonex, other users or anyone else at risk. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we tell you why and give you a chance to respond first, unless the breach is serious, the law forbids it, or warning you would cause harm.

If we close your account because you broke these terms or the acceptable use policy, the hours left in it are forfeited as far as the law allows, and invite rewards are cancelled. We may also close nonex as a whole, with at least 30 days' notice in the app, or by email if your account has one, unless the law or a serious problem makes that impossible. If we close your account for any other reason, or close nonex, you can ask us for a refund of the paid hours you have not used.

Sections that by their nature should last after the agreement ends, such as those on your responsibility, warranties, limitation of liability and your indemnity, stay in force.

Availability

We do our best to keep nonex running, but we do not promise that it will always be available, fast or free of errors. Starting a session can take a few minutes, and longer when many sessions start at once or free capacity is short. We may pause new sessions, or parts of nonex, for maintenance, security, or reasons outside our control.

nonex is not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything important; the export in Settings helps.

No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, nonex, the model and every answer are provided "as is" and "as available". We make no promises or warranties, express or implied, that nonex or its answers are accurate, complete, reliable, safe, lawful for your purpose, fit for a particular purpose or of satisfactory quality, or that they do not infringe anyone's rights.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for answers or for what you or others do with them, for your content or your use of nonex, for websites, search engines and other services of third parties, for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or opportunity, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims connected with nonex is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 6 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or 50 US dollars.

These limits also protect our providers and the people who run nonex for us, as far as the law allows.

Rights we do not limit

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or any right you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Brazil or another country whose law protects you more, the warranty disclaimer, the limits on liability and the indemnity apply to you only as far as that law allows. In the European Union and the United Kingdom, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, and not for loss that was not foreseeable.

Your indemnity

You will compensate us, and the people who run nonex for us, for claims by others, losses, fines and reasonable costs, including legal fees, that arise from your content, your use of answers, your breach of these terms or the acceptable use policy, your breach of the law or of anyone's rights, or the use of your account or API keys by anyone you let use them. If you are a consumer, this applies only to loss caused by your breach or your unlawful conduct, and as far as the law allows.

We tell you about such a claim when we can. You may not settle it in a way that admits fault for us or makes us pay without our consent.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when nonex, the law or our providers change, or to make them clearer. The date of the last change is shown at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, in the app or by email if your account has one, unless the law or security requires the change to take effect sooner.

If you do not accept a change, stop using nonex and delete your account before it takes effect. If the change materially reduces your rights, you can ask us for a refund of the paid hours you have not used before you delete the account. If you keep using nonex after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.

If you have a problem with nonex, write to us first at support@nonex.ai and we will try to solve it. This does not stop you from going to a court or a consumer authority.

General

These terms, the acceptable use policy and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about nonex. If a part of them is invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force, and that part applies as far as the law allows. If we do not enforce a right at once, we have not given it up. We may transfer this agreement to whoever takes over nonex, as long as your rights are not reduced; you may not transfer it. Neither of us is responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control.

These terms are written in English. If a translation differs, the English text applies, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

We send notices in the app, or by email if your account has an email address. You can write to us at support@nonex.ai.
